Care and repair
How should I care for my Czech glass beads jewellery?
To preserve the brilliance of the colours and not to damage it, it is essential to avoid putting your jewellery near any source of heat or moisture. Especially water. Your jewellery should be stored in a cool, dry and light place. In order to avoid the natural process of oxidation, we recommend that you wear your jewellery as often as possible and do not leave it in a closed box for too long.
How can I ensure the longevity of my crystal beads jewels and accessories?
To maintain the quality and appearance of your accessories, it is recommended to clean them gently with a soft cloth. Additionally, it is advisable to keep them away from harsh chemicals and direct sunlight.
While our accessories are designed for durability, it is advisable to handle them with care and store them properly to prevent scratches or damage.
Can I wear my jewellery in the bath/shower/pool/sea?
To avoid premature wear of your jewellery, we recommend avoiding contact with water as much as possible.
How should I clean my jewellery?
We advise using a soft microfibre cloth to gently polish your jewellery. Never use chemicals to clean your pieces, such as washing-up liquid or make-up remover.
Creation
What is crystal?
The crystal used of our beads is a type of glass that contains strengthening minerals like lead oxide, potassium carbonate, and silica to make the material durable. The added strength allows the crystal to be moulded into thin and delicate shapes.
Why has my brass jewellery developed a patina?
The oxidation of the pieces is a natural phenomenon, which will give your jewellery a beautiful patina over time. We recommend to wipe it with a soft cloth or a silver dedicated cloth to avoid too much oxydation and keep the shine as long as possible.
